GOALS

Everybody talks about goals and targets. You will just find people saying that you should have a goal in your life and put all your efforts to accomplish that goal. Not just people, but whatever motivational thing you watch on television, read in books or witness a speaker, all of them say the same thing that you have to have a goal and then work hard to get that completed. 

But, what is that goal and how should one decide his goal in life. There are several things to do, but what is the one thing that you must do. A normal man who is born in normal family and has been living an ordinary life in very simple atmosphere just learns how to complete his studies and get a job so that he can earn a penny for him and his family’s food and shelter. And, so does he do. But when he found someone saying about life and goals, he gets confused by thinking about different things that he could do but did not do. He starts thinking to throw himself in various areas where he can get success but eventually he fails. Why! Because he just becomes a part of rat race and goes with the flow according to trend which is going on lately. This is how a job holder loses his satisfaction in life and runs for other things which are apart from his job. It is a good thing if you want to improve but finding out the right thing and then getting skilled in that thing should be the priority.  

So, what is your goal. Is it a real goal or you just heard somewhere and implementing in your life. If it is a real goal that you thought a long ago and want to accomplish it, then why do you want to do that. Will you feel happy after that, or you feel satisfied, or it is a goal given by someone else, or you just think you do not have anything else. 

Finding out the hidden aim behind your goals is the most important factor to decide weather this goal is what you want to accomplish or there is any other thing that you like more than the previous one. Like, you want to become a teacher, but why. Do you like to teach or it is told that teaching is a good profession. Because teaching is a responsible and difficult job as it includes lives of students that have to be changed in right direction. If you understand and take this responsibility as your passion then you will definitely become a teacher. May be not in a good school but you will teach one day for sure because you have figured out the hidden aim. Just like that every job, profession, business or art has its own specialities and responsibilities that one has to understand. 

Many people are just blindly following other’s passion and getting failed one after the other. Since you are not made for everything you see, you can not achieve the heights you assume. Just find one goal and then hidden aim of that goal, if this hidden aim interests you, then it is sure that you will accomplish that goal. This interest is the only thing which is responsible for the consistency and then the joyful journey you are going to have.
