We are unique creatures who are bestowed with the power of thinking. We can think whatever we want and can act accordingly. The number of our thoughts do not matter much, the thing that matters is the the quality of a thought which is equal to thousands of other thoughts. This quality is not given to anyone because it has to be brought by practice. This practice enables our mind to ignore unnecessary thoughts which tend to distracts us from our primary job.
Most of the time, the solutions are pretty easy, often made complex by overthinking. It includes everything that keeps you at a distance from yourself. The comparison of different ways of different people is one of the very common thoughts that comes in mind. This thought can never motivate anyone because the diversity in this world creates different people with different ideas and their own ways of doing things. If anyone starts comparing himself with other human, he will first loose himself and then can not even get where he wanted to.
Have you ever thought about the people who live happily? Why are they happy? Are they given some special liberties or more resources than you? What do you think they do? The truth is that they do not have anything like special liberties, more resources, or any direct approach to happiness. They just keep realising the importance of small things in their life. This realisation makes them aware how things get accumulated and becomes big. They neither overjoy the success nor get depressed while having tough times.
A person can live happily and enjoy his life by avoiding the prediction of results, which depends on how effectively you do your job. Your effectiveness can be disturbed if you try to see the future. So, just live in today and be excited about today's things.
Overthinking always causes unhappiness. It negatively affects your performance. But, why and when does this overthinking come? This is produced by the subconscious mind when it is idle. And this can be about anything. Some people overthink their jobs. Some people overthink their lifestyles. There is no limit to thoughts. You can think as much as you want.
Sometimes you may be stuck in situations where it seems difficult to come to a decision, which makes you overthink. But, it is very simple. If you want to quit, then quit. If you want to continue, then continue. Be persistent on your decision. Don't think much; just trust your judgments. You will know as soon as you make a decision whether it's right or wrong. If you took it right, then it's progress. And, if you took it wrong, then learn from it, and we make it progressive next time. Progress is sure.
