The meaning of development is often misunderstood by people. The definition of development is taken as to becoming rich, living in big buildings, driving expensive cars, wearing branded clothes and what not. People remain confused and misguided about the lucidity of the term development for their entire life. They do not even want to understand things as they are stuck in the rat race of being developed, which they think of getting things that they do not have. 

The students who are preparing for the competitive exams want to take admissions in high ranked colleges of the country because they think of high placements and good jobs. Some of them clear the exams and get in those high ranked colleges and also get high packages of salary. But, even after getting what they wanted for so long, they spend an unsatisfactory life. Why is it so?

The real definition of development is developing your thoughts, ideas, behaviour and most importantly the mentality towards the life and this world. But what are ways you can get that?

You might have heard, many times, that the atmosphere and the company of people around you affect you very much in nurturing and developing your thoughts and opinions. That is why your teachers and parents keep telling you to leave the bad companies of people and join the good ones. And, it is the main reason why people have different mindsets in villages and cities. Now, you can very well understand how a child whose father is doing a good job gets a different nurturing from the child whose father is a farmer, labour, driver or any such jobs which do not have much money. After  parents, it is the school which is responsible for the growth of a child because different school have different atmosphere due to the children, facilities and most importantly the teachers. 

Any individual who is reading this, weather you are a student or teacher, parent or child, employed or unemployed, farmer or banker, businessman or worker, you are supposed to understand the fact that the atmosphere around you is very important and it is your responsibility to keep that atmosphere clean and health by living in a good company of people who have good minds and positive approach towards life. 

Talking about students, there are such students also who want to choose good colleges not for the high salary but for the great minds that they will find in those great colleges. 

Every kind of men is available out there, you just need to observe and find out the one who can make a great company with you. So, start living in people who respect you, support you and help you in your tough times and leave the bad people who demoralise you, discourage you and become distractions.
