MARATHON

There are many things apart from your main objective that you want to do and you must do. Because doing the same thing for long durations makes you saturated and bored. This saturation and boredom then reduces the effectiveness that you have in your work. You do not have anything else in your mind except the work you have been doing for so long, which makes you talk about your job night and day. Then, you start feeling exhausting and less of yourself. And, the moment you start thinking less of yourself, you tend to loose your self confidence of doing anything. So doing some additional activities is what you need to make yourself confident, calm, disciplined and away from your daily load. 

Running is one of those additional activities that you can start and add in your daily routine. But not all the people can consistently do this because of the laziness, lack of motivation and unawareness of the benefits. However, there is one thing that can be set as a goal to run consistently.

Marathons running is that one thing. Because it is not just an event, it is a big process that you have to regularise in your life in order to reach the standards and make yourself able to hold that standard. It is a big run for which you require many days and months to prepare. And this preparation journey is what makes you disciplined and consistent in running as well as in other activities too. If you have set a target for a marathon, you definitely increase your will power and confidence. This goal helps you in staying motivated not only for this particular, but also for your main objective. 

Do not start preparing for the full marathon as it again tends to demotivate you. Start by having target of completing 5 kilometres first, then increase it to 10 kilometres and keep increasing slowly and steadily. By having this idea and strategy in your mind you can certainly be consistently running on daily basis. If you run daily you can sense the joyful moment and lightness in your body that you get after you finish running. 

If you can feel and sense an easiness in your body after running daily, then just think of having finished 42 kms marathon. You can not be happier in that moment. Even if you are not a runner or have a dream of completing a marathon, but still finishing a marathon feels very good and brings satisfaction like you have achieved something big in your life. May be this is not a huge achievement, but it at least helped you in being consistent in running. Moreover, it enhances your confidence and power of taking decisions as you have already taken a right and great one to run a marathon. 

There are many people in this world who have been doing job and business for long and also earning very good, living a good lifestyle, but they still get bored and think that they are living a normal life. A marathon can be a miracle for them. This marathon is not just about running, it can be about anything that interests you more and suits you the most. 


Set your marathon goal and start working for that.
