SPEND TIME

In the poem 'On His Twenty-Third birthday,' poet John Milton says that time is the 'subtle thief of youth.' This means that time makes you see things happening and never gives you a shot if you don't give yourself to it. You always have some time to think about what you have achieved and what you haven't yet in your life. Whenever you get some time, it doesn’t matter weather it is once a week or once a month, you need to utilise this for yourself. Ask yourself about what have you done, what are you doing and where are you going. If you can answer these questions easily without any hesitation, then it is very good for you. But in case you find yourself in a condition where you can not answer them, it needs to considered.

You are just one step behind the beginning of something. As soon as you start spending time, you will see the importance of this and how this makes a difference. You will know that taking a short time for yourself makes a significant change. In life that you got for once, at least know who you are. Though  this world makes you realise who you are, but to know yourself in real, you need to figure it out by stealing some time from your daily routine. You have yourself to accompany yourself.

You have a lot of seconds to dream and a lot of hours to work and a lot of days to make that come true. Days and nights do not matter if you are dedicated and have found out the work that you love the most. Days and nights are defined just by the light of the Sun. If there is light, it is day. If there is no light, it is night. But still, time runs and completes twenty four hours irrespective of this light. So eventually, you have twenty four hours to work, study, sleep, eat, exercise and whatever you like to do. Now, the section of these hours in which you are performing different activities can be morning, evening, afternoon, and night. So what matters is the effectiveness of your work and not the section.

Spending this useful time for yourself can be in office, in home, in ground, in gym, with your friends or anywhere between the road where you stop and think that it is the right place to have time. Place does not count much, it is the mindfulness you bring towards this time that counts. At the moment you realise that you are on a wrong path, turn right or left and if it requires, take a U turn. You may suffer in tracking the new map in the beginning but time helps you in learning this new map and soon makes you familiar with the landmarks that are important to reach. This all come when you start spending time.

If you want to win, you have to begin.
