DISCIPLINE

You can definitely feel very good after you do exercise or yoga, but you rarely have that feeling when you wake up and have to start them again and again. You can never be motivated forever because motivation is a temporary source of your energy, it can ignite you but it can not stay with you for your entire journey. That is why discipline plays very important role here. It forces you to keep going and do all the things that are necessary even if you do not feel excited for them. 

There are many times in your life when everything seems to be boring and you do not like to do even the basic things. Like, you do not want to take bath, you do not want to press your uniform, you do not even want to eat. It happens with everyone, but still everyone have to carry out all of these activities to fulfil their daily requirements and needs. Here, motivation or any other thing is not what you think is responsible for making you do all these things, it is the discipline and punctuality that works unknowingly. 

When you eat good food and wear good cloths, you feel very confident and positive to start your day. But how do you do that? How can you daily eat good and healthy food and wear neat and clean uniform? Is there any time when you want to eat fast food or do whatever you want to? Yes, of course there are many times when you feel like that. Many people even do that but a few people does not allow themselves to go this far because they have adopted discipline in their life which stops them to do all those activities that can stop their growth in any aspect. They do not underestimate the slowness of discipline, instead they realise the valuable results that they get from that slowness. 

When you start learning something new, you face failures almost daily which tends to demoralise you and creates all the  conditions in which you feel like giving up. No doubt, motivation brings you out of these conditions and makes you able to see the difference between present and future and make your plans as well, but the execution of these plans is what you need the most importantly. And this execution comes when you are disciplined and focused. Your goal can be very high and you too can be highly motivated to achieve that goal by any means, however you can not achieve it if you do not carry discipline with you. It works with you on daily basis and brings positive results if you analyse them time by time. So be disciplined in whatever work you do. It will never betray you. 


Discipline forces you to keep going even if you do not want to.
